Waiting for the Paint to Dry

Yesterday while I was waiting for the paint to dry on the picture frame/shelf, the fam and I headed out to dinner.  There was a bit of a wait at the restaurant so The B and I headed across the way to a new consignment shop.  Because of it's location I had very high expectations of what I'd find inside.  And man was I pleased.  Check out some of my favorites and inspirations for future projects.

Can't you just see this chair in an ugly old brown color with a yellow seat (see the picture below)?  With the right color paint and fabric for the seat it's been turned into a $75 work of art.  Notice the bench behind and to the right as well as the hutch to the left.  They were all painted the same color and displayed as a group though I'm sure they didn't grow up in the same house.

A few days after this post I found a chair that was strikingly similar to the $75 chair above.  It just needs a little paint right?

I found this wicker table in the corner.  It wasn't grouped with the others but was painted the same as the dining chair, bench and hutch above. The B thought it'd be perfect for tea.

Beautiful black and white memo board matched the bench below.  $70.

Georgous.  $200.

These can't be too hard to make, right?  Didn't catch the price.

On to the next....
